This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and returns for any products or services purchased from World Curiosities. By purchasing from us, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Digital Products and Subscriptions
1.1 Digital Content and Downloads
For digital products, such as e-books, guides, or research papers, we provide the following refund options:
- If you have not downloaded or accessed the digital content, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- If you have downloaded or accessed the digital content but find it unsatisfactory due to technical issues (such as corrupted files or formatting problems), you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you can provide evidence of the technical issue.
- Due to the nature of digital products, once you have downloaded or accessed the content, refunds for reasons other than technical issues are generally not provided.
1.2 Subscriptions and Memberships
For subscription-based services:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- If you cancel within the first 14 days of a new subscription (trial period), you will receive a full refund of the subscription fee.
- For annual subscriptions, if you cancel after the first 14 days but within the first 30 days, you may receive a prorated refund for the unused portion.
- No refunds will be issued for monthly subscriptions after the first 14 days or for annual subscriptions after the first 30 days.
2. Physical Products
For physical products, such as books, merchandise, or educational materials:
2.1 Return Eligibility
You may return most items purchased from World Curiosities within 30 days of delivery for a full refund if:
- The item is in its original condition
- The item is in its original packaging
- You have the original receipt or proof of purchase
2.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Items marked as "non-returnable" or "final sale"
- Items that have been personalized or customized
2.3 Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item
- Provide photos of the damage or defect
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund at our discretion
2.4 Return Process
To return an item:

- We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions
- Package the item securely with all original packaging materials
- Include your order number, RMA number, and reason for return
- Ship the item to the address provided in the return instructions
2.5 Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the item received was incorrect, damaged, or defective. In these cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
3. Events and Workshops
For events, workshops, or educational sessions:
3.1 Cancellation by Customer
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 7-14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are not eligible for refund but may be transferred to another person or a future event.
3.2 Cancellation by World Curiosities
If we cancel an event or workshop:
- You will receive a full refund of your registration fee
- We will not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses you have incurred
- We may offer the option to transfer your registration to a future event
4. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider's policies.
4.1 Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund within the specified timeframe:
- First, check your bank account or credit card statement
- Then contact your bank or credit card company, as there may be processing time
- If you've done the above and still haven't received your refund, contact our customer service at [email protected]
5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and send your item to the address provided.
